I just walked to the shop without a coat on for the first time in several months. Oh, it was wonderful! Liberating, even! And not a bit cold. Monumental, you might say. Admittedly the shop is only two minutes away. I wouldn’t want to, say, stand at a bus stop without a coat just yet. God, I’m not that brave/naive! Still, the thought of spring and the inevitable summer that follows is making my tummy flutter.
