I’ve got a couple of days off work so am being every bit the housewife. Yesterday I made curry (from scratch!) and today I am cleaning windows to the sound of Johnny Cash. It’s lovely and sunny but still a bit too nippy for my liking. Even more excitingly, I received an eBay delivery in the post yesterday – a beautiful, soft brown leather, 1980s, batwing jacket. I often find eBay deliveries come with a tinge of disappointment (the girl modelling it obviously had it pinned in at the back, because it’s the size of a tent in reality) but on this occasion I’m pleased to report that it’s even better than I’d hoped for. It fits like a dream and it feels like butter and I simply can’t stop prancing about in and asking the boy if he likes it. (He doesn’t, incidentally, but I reckon he’ll warm to it the longer I prance.) I better go now (no, not to try on my jacket…well, maybe just for a minute or two) to knock up a few more culinary treats!
