we’ll travel along, singin’ a song, side by side
The boy and I have been together for four years today. I don’t mean to sound gushing, but ooooof! That’s a feat. There’ll be no lavish celebrations, but we do have a few days off together, which I suppose will consist of lots of food and lots of The Everly Brothers (what can I say, that’s just our thing). when my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
that split the night
and touched the sound of silence.
