Finally made it to Copenhagen at the beginning of February. It’s been on my list forever. Cold and cocktails and white wooden floors and candles and finding the DJ who played 45s (and only 45s) – amongst other brilliant things. A far more comprehensive list of where-to-eat/drink/shop/stay coming soon. For now though, some Vesterbro scenery and me – wearing no less than four layers.

Nostalgia, for a change; another spring/summer/autumn/winter down and seeing in the New Year the only way I know how – dancing to Northern Soul in my trainers. Taking centre stage last year, as ever, was the music – but of course there were some drinks to be had and some big skies to behold too. The following is hardly comprehensive, but maybe I’ll do a better job at being just that in 2015, with a fully functioning blog and some not-too-shabby plans to my name.

I’ve mentioned my fascination with city train rides once before. Here’s London – partly from the reflective eyes of a train window, partly on the ground of a disused train track – at its most spectacular (again).
